PROCESS WATER

The main functions of process water are the transport, washing, dilution or composition of finished products. In the food production industry, due to its direct contact with products intended for human consumption, process water must be drinkable at least. All the technologies available to treat drinking water (clarification and disinfection) are therefore required. But the treatment channels may be advanced even further, as for the production of purified water in the pharmaceuticals and electronics industries (membrane technology, ion exchanges, ozone, UV, etc.). The choice of treatment channel, its design and its implementation are then vital in the finished product's quality.
